Talent Care Education Ltd (“Talent Care”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an education consultancy providing student recruitment, admissions support, and related advisory services.

We are the data controller for personal data we collect through our websites, enquiry and application forms, social media and advertising lead forms, and our communications with you.

Data Protection Officer (DPO):
We are not currently required to appoint a statutory Data Protection Officer. Our admission manager is working as interim DPO.

This Privacy Notice applies to:

  • individuals who enquire about our services,
  • applicants and students, we support with admissions,
  • former applicants or students whose personal data we retain in line with our retention policy.

This notice does not form part of any contract. We may update it from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you via our website or by other appropriate means.

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law. This means personal data must be:

  • processed lawfully, fairly and transparently;
  • collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes;
  • adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary;

  • Admissions data: education history, qualifications, course preferences, CVs, personal statements, references (if provided)
  • Documents you provide: certificates, transcripts, right-to-study documentation, passport or visa-related documents (only where necessary for admissions)
  • Communications: emails, telephone calls, SMS and WhatsApp messages, meeting notes, webform submissions and call recordings (with consent where necessary)
  • Billing data (if applicable): invoices, receipts and payment status (we avoid collecting full bank details unless essential)

    B. Special Category Data
    We process special category data only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards, for example:

  • Health or disability information (only where you choose to disclose this for reasonable adjustments);
  • Ethnicity or religion (only where lawful and typically for equality monitoring).

    C. Criminal Offence Data

We do not routinely collect criminal conviction data. Where an institution requires this for a specific course or placement, we will process it only where lawful and proportionate and with suitable safeguards.

  • where soft opt-in applies (you enquired about similar services and are given a clear opt-out).

    A. Universities and Colleges

We share relevant application data at your request to process admissions. These institutions usually act as independent data controllers and issue their own privacy notices.

    B. Service Providers (Processors)

We use trusted providers for CRM systems. They act under our instructions and confidentiality obligations.

    C. Agents, Sponsors, Parents/Guardians

Where applicable and appropriate (e.g., under-18s or sponsored students), we may share relevant updates.

    D. Legal or Regulatory Bodies

Where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal data.

  1. International Transfers

Some institutions or service providers may be located outside the UK. Where we make a restricted transfer, we rely on:

  • UK adequacy regulations; or
  • UK-approved safeguards such as the UK IDTA or UK Addendum, and conduct transfer risk assessments.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, secure storage, staff confidentiality and secure document-sharing practices.

  • Applications: admission cycle + up to 24 months
  • Marketing preferences: until you opt out (suppression records retained)
  • Legal records: as required by law

  • request erasure (where applicable);
  • restrict processing;
