Overview

This collaborative programme is designed to produce graduates who not only have a firm understanding of the academic theory underpinning the industry but have been given the opportunity to apply this theory to their practice during placements at a Hotel.

Requirements

  • All applicants are required to have at least 5 GCSEs at C/4 or above including English and Maths. Students whose first language is not English and who have not previously studied in the UK are required to have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

Classroom based

Progression Route

A Certificate of Higher Education is a Level 4 qualification and is equivalent to the first year of a full-time honours degree programme. To achieve the qualification, students must obtain a minimum of 120 credits. The successful completion of a Certificate of Higher Education can lead to the second year of an appropriate Foundation Degree or an honours degree programme.
